Welcome to Berney Elementary!

I am honored to serve as the principal of Berney Elementary and to be part of such a caring, dedicated, and welcoming school community.  I am passionate about creating a school where every student feels known, valued, supported, and challenged to grow.  I also believe strongly in building positive relationships, supporting staff, creating inclusive learning environments, and making school a place where students and adults are excited to be each day.

One of the things I love most about Berney is the sense of community.  Our staff genuinely cares about kids and about one another, and I am continually impressed by their willingness to collaborate, grow, and do what is best for students.  I love seeing our Bulldogs learn, laugh, take risks, solve problems, and discover what they are capable of.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, hiking, paddleboarding, and finding opportunities for a good adventure.

I am incredibly excited about the year ahead and all that we will accomplish together.  I look forward to continuing to build a school community where students, families, and staff feel connected, supported, and proud to be Berney Bulldogs!
