Welcome Back to School 2024-2025

Hello! My name is Sarah Glover, and I'm excited to be the new principal of Berney Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year!

I was born and raised in Montana and have called Spokane, Washington my home since I was 12. I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary and Special Education and my Master of Arts in Teaching with an Emphasis in Teacher Leadership from Grand Canyon University. I also hold a Master's in Educational Leadership with a Principal Certificate from Eastern Washington University. My teaching experience includes special education, 4th grade, and serving as an academic interventionist for grades K-5.

With a proud tradition of educators in my family, I am passionate about continuing this legacy. I bring a strong background in education and a dedication to student success to Berney Elementary. I am committed to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring each student reaches their full potential.

I look forward to meeting each of you personally and building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents through collaboration and open communication. Your insights and feedback are invaluable as we work together to shape the future of Berney Elementary.
