School begins at 8:15 and the tardy bell rings at 8:25. If your student arrives after 8:25 please have them check in with the front office before heading to class.
The character trait of month for January is teamwork, which means to perform a task or acheive a goal by cooperating with others. We encourage you to have your child practice this trait at home as well as at school.
Girls 5th grade Basketball will have our first away game on Thursday, the 26th at Green Park. See you there!
Friday, the 27th is Rainbow Day! Our Bulldogs have been caught doing loads of good things and earned themselves a Spirit Day. Each grade level will be assigned a color to wear to show their school spirit and staff will be decked out in their rainbow brightest! Dress up and join the fun this Friday!
Plan to attend the PTA movie night on Friday, January 27th. Bring a parent or adult friend to enjoy Dolphin Tale with you. Doors open at 6:30 and show starts at 6:45 pm. Admission is free and snacks will be available for purchase.
Put your art skills to the test and submit an entry in the "Splendor in the Sky" Balloon Stampede kid's art contest. The winner will have their design on official Balloon Stampede t shirts and receive a variety of prizes and privileges. Submit your 8 1/2x11" entry on white paper by February 7th to the front office. Talk to a staff member for more details or call 525-0850 ext. 201.
